Emma Sabiiti, CFA, CFP, CAIA
Founder
Emma founded EMMA Research to bring institutional-quality financial guidance to individuals, families, and small business owners—helping them build resilient wealth and pursue lasting financial health and freedom.
Emma’s perspective is shaped by a deep personal journey. Emma was born and raised in Uganda and lost both of his parents by the age of eleven. These early life experiences taught him the importance of resilience, thoughtful decision-making, and planning for the future while also living fully in the present.
Emma moved to the U.S. for his college studies in 2001 and has spent his professional career working in investment management in Boston. Over the course of his twenty-year career, Emma has held investment leadership roles at multi-billion-dollar financial institutions. Most recently, he served as Head of Sustainable Investment Strategy at MassMutual, a Fortune 100 company. Prior to that, he was a Partner, Head Trader, and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Boston Common Asset Management, a leading sustainable investment firm. Emma’s multicultural background and global perspective help him appreciate the diverse financial journeys clients take and allow him to meet you where you are.
Emma earned a BA in Mathematics and French from Middlebury College and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He is a CFP® professional, holds CFA®, CAIA® charters and serves on The Norcross Wildlife Foundation board. Emma lives in Newton with his wife, two kids and enjoys gardening in his spare time.
Today, through EMMA Research, Emma is committed to helping you build the life you want.
